Site status: Durbar Square restoration ongoing at one temple, other sites normal
Scaffolding remains around the Trailokya Mohan temple at Kathmandu Durbar Square as part of ongoing post-2015 earthquake reconstruction, which affects photo angles from one corner of the square but not general access. Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath are all operating normally with no closures. Monsoon rain occasionally shortens the Swayambhunath hilltop stop, and guides carry a covered alternative viewpoint on wet days.
