Kanchenjunga Region Treks

Kanchenjunga is a restricted trekking region in far-eastern Nepal circling the 8,586 m Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest mountain, reached by a multi-day approach with almost none of the crowds found on Everest or Annapurna trails. Its restricted-area permit costs USD 20 per week and requires a minimum of two trekkers with a licensed guide, the lightest restricted-permit fee of any Nepal region. We run the Kanchenjunga North Base Camp Trek, a 16-18 day single-side itinerary to Pangpema, now as our flagship Kanchenjunga departure, with the full North-South circuit and other route options expanding through 2027.
